Bundle Of Love Academy LLC in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a qualified Lead Teacher- Toddler Classroom to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2) in a center-based environment. This position requires completed early childhood education college credits.

What You'll Do

• We welcome each child and their parent with a cheerful, upbeat, and joyous demeanor.
• Our teacher plans and implements "Learn through Play" instructional curriculum in a Christian learning environment that encourages students to develop their academic potential.
• Lessons are tailored to each age group, incorporating handwriting, crafts, games, hands-on activities, field trips, and daily homework to support curriculum.
• Our teacher ensures the children's safety and maintains a small group.
• The ability to lift, pull, push, or hold 20-30 pounds is essential.
• Classroom rules and behavior procedures are established and enforced.
• Our teacher upholds all student administration policies and state governing rules.
• Any physical or developmental problems are reported for further attention.
• Parents are updated via email, school app, or telephone.
• Meals and snacks are served in accordance with nutritional guidelines, and allergies are recognized and documented for each child.
• The cleanliness and neatness of the facility and its parts are maintained.

Requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• A background check is mandatory.
• 2 years of professional childcare experience is preferred.
• A high school education is required.
• Able to work with 2 and 3-year-old toddlers with ease.
• Possess the ability to open and close facilities periodically.
• An associates degree in Early Childhood Education or Social Science is an asset.
• Daycare Training Certificates can be beneficial.

Pay

This Lead Teacher- Toddler Classroom role pays $14.50 to $17.50/Hr.
