Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Observe and document children's progress and development, and communicate this information to parents and other caregivers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and educational experiences across different age groups.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and follow guidelines set by state and local regulations.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
