Responsibilities
- Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn
- Being patient and kind with our parents
- Acting as a role model to make a positive difference in children's lives
- Cultivating a supportive environment for both children and families
- Planning and implementing dynamic curricula for fun, child-centered lessons
- Safeguarding a safe environment by supervising each child in your care
- Maintaining a clean and healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines
- Upholding all YMCA, state, and quality rating systems policies and guidelines
Requirements
- Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency
- Two plus years (2500 Hours) of childcare experience
