About the role
The Lead Teacher is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the classroom, ensuring that all children are receiving a high-quality educational experience. This includes planning and implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with other teachers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
- Valid state teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
