Lead Teacher

A Child's Place of Volo is a licensed childcare center seeking full-time teachers for all age groups, including Infants-PreK and our School Age Program.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the camp program in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the program.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

Requirements

• Some higher education in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Elementary Education.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Pay

$19–$20/hour, based on education and experience.
