Becks Montessori Accelerated Learning Center in Eagan is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddler age group.
Requirements
- Previous lead teacher experience in a licensed classroom setting
- ECE Lead qualified through MN state standards (CDA or higher education in early childhood)
- Montessori experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
- Develop and implement the educational environment and curriculum consistent with American Montessori Society standards and center policies
- Manage learning experiences to meet the needs of the group and individual students
- Develop positive relationships with children and families, encouraging bonding to the class and school community
- Communicate child’s development based on individualized tracking of student progress
- Address developmental needs with parents, including strategies, intervention, or support from outside specialists when necessary
- Maintain regular verbal and written communication with parents
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Pay
$18 - $20/hour, based on education and experience
