Lead Teacher

About the role

As a Lead Teacher at our Montessori school, you’ll create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers. You’ll promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with all licensing guidelines and company standards. Building sincere relationships with families will support both child achievement and your center’s success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, Montessori-aligned learning experiences
• Mentor and support fellow teachers
• Foster the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation
• Ensure adherence to licensing guidelines and company standards
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families
• Engage in physical activity with children, both indoors and outdoors

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
• Ability to meet state and childcare center education requirements
• Willingness to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
