Lead Teacher

Cadence Academy Preschool, part of the Cadence Education family, is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators in Raleigh, NC.

About the role

Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment for two-year-olds. Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum alongside your teaching team, observe and support children’s interests and developmental milestones, and communicate effectively with families about their child’s progress.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive social behaviors and model respectful interactions
• Plan a balanced daily schedule with a mix of indoor/outdoor and active/quiet activities

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Meet state requirements for lead preschool teachers
• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• Prior experience as a preschool lead teacher
• Strong classroom management skills (preferred)
• Flexibility to work within business hours
