About the role
We need a dedicated Lead Teacher in Rome, GA to guide our classroom, inspire young learners, and deliver a fun daily curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach daily lessons
- Keep children safe and happy
- Talk with parents every day
- Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state educational standards
- Manage daily classroom operations to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere
- Assess and track student progress, providing regular updates and feedback to parents and administration
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid state teaching credentials
- Past work in a classroom
- Proven work experience as a Lead Teacher or in a similar educational role
- Valid state teaching certification or relevant early childhood education credentials
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Degree in early childhood education
- Experience with specialized curriculum planning and differentiated instruction
- First aid and CPR certification
- Bilingual communication skills
