Lead Systems Engineer, Battlespace
About the role
The Systems Engineer Lead position is within Anduril Industries' Battlespace Awareness Command and Control Software team. This team develops tactical sense- and decision-making software for Anduril's command and control (C2) products. The Systems Engineer Lead will support the design, development, and validation of advanced algorithmic capabilities, including tracking, sensor/effector management, battlespace optimization, and threat forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and validation of advanced algorithmic capabilities including tracking, sensor/effector management, battlespace optimization, and threat forecasting.
- Bridge system design, requirements management, modeling and simulation (M&S), and verification & validation (V&V) activities.
- Integrate emerging capabilities into new products and system configurations.
- Lead requirements decomposition across cross-functional teams, defining success in the face of ambiguity.
- Develop test plans, acceptance criteria, and analysis tools to evaluate system performance using both simulation and collected field data.
- Use data-driven analysis to verify customer requirements are met, and create artifacts to trace performance as the system evolves.
- Owning systems end-to-end, bringing an ability to identify and solve problems between the seams and push through to reach an ultimate desired outcome.
- Develop and execute high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments to validate algorithm performance, evaluate system capabilities against requirements, and predict real-world performance before field deployment.
- Lead requirements decomposition across cross-functional teams, defining success in the face of ambiguity.
- Ensure the technical success of an end-to-end solution.
