LEAD SUPPLY CHAIN COORD-Full-Time

Sierra Medical Center is part of Northern Nevada Health System, a regional multi-facility system that has excelled at offering quality care to residents of the greater Truckee Meadows. Sierra Medical Center is a 170-bed acute care hospital offering services including 24/7 ER care, cardiology, oncology, labor and delivery, level II NICU, surgical and orthopedic services, and much more.
Responsibilities
- Works as a liaison with the central purchasing office to resolve purchase order issues or concerns.
- Contributes to the ongoing accuracy of the perpetual inventory by efficient utilization of Supply Chain techniques in purchasing, receiving and distribution.
- Consults with director of support services for support on any departmental changes to be initiated prior to implementation and with any department concerns in regards to equipment repairs and employee conflict that will result in formal performance management.
- Communicates with all departments in relation to requisitions and orders that are in progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics or a related field is preferred.
- At least two (2) years of experience with the procurement function in the healthcare environment.
