Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the staffing and scheduling the entire care department.
- Schedule, maintain, and adjust employee schedules as needed.
- Input schedules for other departments each week; provided by department directors.
- Manage all aspects of scheduling; including call-ins and finding coverage.
- Tracks attendance points for care department.
- Affords assistance with write-ups for attendance.
- Covers shifts as needed.
- Affords assistance with calling and scheduling interviews for hourly positions.
- Collaborates with Wellness Director on training dates to ensure follow up on new Caregivers, med tech training, and supervisor check off.
- Reviews time clock punches/payroll for all hourly employees.
- Spend time on the floor every shift to monitor processes and performance.
- Participates in on-call rotation and creates supervisor on-call rotation.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the Aides and Supervisors and bring forward new ideas to better these roles.
- Affords assistance in the training of new employees and retraining of current employees when applicable.
- Affords assistance in the disciplinary process of employees, participation in remediation, retraining efforts, etc.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of direct care experience is required. One year of previous Supervisory or other applicable experience is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: AHA CPR Certification is required (within 60 days of hire), First Aid Training is required (within 60 days of hire).
Shifts/Availability
- Supervisors must have availability to rotate being On-Call.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good command of English language, both oral and written.
- Ability to socially interact and perform under pressure.
- Ability to maintain positive and professional interactions with residents and families at all times.
- Good planning and organization skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Programs and/or other applicable software programs and excellent computer skills.
