Job Summary

Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Department of Defense Top Secret Security Clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
  • Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Circuit Design expertise
  • Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
  • Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters
  • Feedback/Control systems experience
  • Power System architecture and grounding
  • Transmission Line Effects in power systems
  • EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc.)
  • Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design experience is desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components
  • The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
  • Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
  • Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
  • Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
  • Ability to travel as needed

WORKPLACE OPTIONS

This position is fully on-site, OR Hybrid/Flex (only for local). While on-site, you will be a part of the McLeansville NC Design Center.

Pay

$10K Sign on Bonus and Relocation Package available.
