Lead Subcontracts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage all U.S. Government (USG) end use subcontracts with suppliers.
• Engage with internal program office/contracts group and support lead Program Managers on matters of subcontractor cost, performance, and schedule.
• Administer existing subcontracts with interaction from Program, Project, and Cost/Estimating Teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of procurement/subcontracts administration experience.
• DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15).
• Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle.
• Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
• Strong organizational skills.
