What You’ll Bring To The Team Lead and coordinate the daily work of the dishwashing and stewarding team.Assign stations and responsibilities based on business levels, banquet needs, restaurant service, and special events.Train new team members on cleaning, sanitation, safety, chemical handling, and equipment-operating procedures.Lead by example through reliability, punctuality, professionalism, cleanliness, and a strong work ethic.Create a positive, respectful, team-first environment where everyone is ready to jump in when needed.Communicate clearly with chefs, cooks, servers, managers, and fellow associates regarding dishware, equipment, sanitation, and supply needs. How You’ll Keep Things Running Beautifully Ensure dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, smallwares, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and available throughout service.Operate, clean, and help maintain the commercial dish machine and related stewarding equipment.Monitor dish machine temperatures, chemical levels, and equipment performance; report concerns promptly.Maintain clean, organized, sanitary dishwashing and back-of-house areas—including floors, drains, walls, trash areas, and workstations.Keep pots, pans, smallwares, and culinary equipment properly organized, stored, and ready for the kitchen team.Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies and equipment.Support garbage, recycling, and grease-disposal procedures in accordance with property standards.Help control breakage, chemical usage, and operating costs through thoughtful, efficient practices.Report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment and dishware to management.Complete opening and closing duties and ensure the stewarding area is set up for the next shift.Follow all food safety, sanitation, OSHA, and company safety standards.Perform other duties as assigned by the culinary and resort leadership teams. What Makes You A Great Fit You bring a positive attitude and take real pride in a job well done.You enjoy working with a collaborative team and understand that every back-of-house detail supports an exceptional guest experience.You can confidently guide others, provide training, and keep a team focused during busy service periods.You work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with varying kitchen temperatures.You are comfortable using commercial kitchen cleaning products and safely handling and storing chemicals.You can reach, bend, stoop, lift, carry, push, and stand continuously throughout your shift.You can move goods on carts and handle loads of up to 200 pounds.You have basic math skills for requisitions and inventory-related tasks.You communicate clearly and effectively in English with fellow associates.You maintain a polished, professional appearance appropriate for a luxury resort environment.You are dependable—consistent attendance is essential to delivering the warm, seamless hospitality our guests remember. Experience And Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous dishwashing or stewarding experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort, banquet, or high-volume kitchen environment is preferred.Previous experience leading, training, or directing a stewarding or dishwashing team is preferred.Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card is required.Ability to safely lift and transport heavy equipment and supplies.Ability to work collaboratively with culinary, restaurant, banquet, and resort teams.
