Lead Sterile Processing Technician - Full Time - Rancho Springs Hospital

Responsibilities

  • Rancho Springs Hospital: Provides Pediatric Emergency Services and OB/Emergency Department programs.
  • Inland Valley Hospital: Performs more than 4,000 surgeries annually and handles over 4,000 Emergency Department visits monthly.
  • Facility Floatation: Employees may be required to float between both facilities based on operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Essential Experience: Two (2) years of recent department-specific experience required.
  • Minimum Essential Education: Sterile processing course completion preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) formally known as International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) through Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) is required.
  • Additional Certifications: Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) and Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) formally known as International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) or Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist (CSIS) and Certified in Sterile Processing Management (CSPM) through Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
  • Certifications Must Be Maintained: As a term of employment.
