About the role
Lead field evaluations of industrial structures, analyze data, evaluate root cause of failure, complete analytical modeling and calculations, and develop engineered rehabilitation or replacement plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead field evaluation of existing structures
- Develop calculations and analytical models in steel, concrete, and other materials
- Lead the design of structural rehabilitation and/or replacement plans
- Specify materials and lead the development of reports
- Provide technical support for structural construction
- Client interface, proposal, and estimate development
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 8+ years of experience
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required
- Extensive knowledge of STAAD/SAP, AISC, and AWS
- Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred
- Client interface and team mentoring experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Field Assignment Requirements
Individual field assignments may have unique requirements, including:
- Physical mobility on the ground and at heights
- Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
- Work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off platforms, scaffolding, or ladders using required fall protection
- Ability to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE (e.g., hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, steel-toed work boots)
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Adherence to client-specific site requirements, including random drug testing and facial hair safety policies

Pay
$110,000 - $150,000 annually. The pay range represents a general guideline; base salary is determined by factors such as depth of experience, skill set, certifications, work location, and market conditions. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus and other incentive compensation plans.
