Lead Spray Technician - Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning - $25-$35//hr

About the Role

The Lead Spray Technician will lead a crew responsible for cleaning commercial kitchen hoods, ducts, fans, and other parts of kitchen exhaust systems in Northern Virginia. This role ensures job quality, safe equipment use, and vehicle maintenance, with opportunities for career growth into management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a work crew in cleaning and maintaining commercial kitchen exhaust systems.
• Independently complete work projects without on-site supervision.
• Maintain and drive the work vehicle to job locations in northern Virginia.
• Inspect areas to clean and prepare equipment and work areas.
• Apply cleaning agents using foaming equipment.
• Thoroughly clean and degrease surfaces with power washers and other tools.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, including wearing PPE.
• Maintain and clean spray equipment.
• Communicate professionally with clients on-site.
• Complete job reports and safety checklists using our app.
• Work closely with crew members to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience required; filter exchange and oven cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and reliable transportation to Springfield, VA.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for night shifts, typically 4-5 nights a week with Fridays and Saturdays off.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check, with appropriate documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Interest in hands-on, technical, and mechanical work.
• Leadership ability.

Pay

$25-$35/hr depending on experience, with additional opportunities for commissions and bonuses.

Schedule

Night shift, full-time, typically 4 or 5 nights a week with Fridays and Saturdays off.
