About the role
Lead projects supporting data, ratings, research, and analytical outreach, applying technical expertise to improve processes and manage data intake, normalization, and processing.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of assigned outputs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completion of quality reviews to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead process re-engineering efforts and champion automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and scalability
- Oversee transitions to team members and outsourcing partners, ensuring consistency and quality of deliverables
- Lead projects or working groups focused on methodology changes, automation, and process standardization
- Support global data and technology initiatives, including requirements gathering and documentation
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional initiatives across regions and teams
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in credit, financial data, or data operations roles, with Structured Finance experience across ABS, RMBS, and CLOs preferred
- Strong understanding of financial data concepts, including data relationships, business context, and how data supports analytical processes and outcomes
- Strong SQL, data management, and data quality expertise, with the ability to work with large datasets and ensure accuracy and integrity
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement scalable solutions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines while maintaining strong quality control standards
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience leveraging technology, automation, and process improvement techniques, with familiarity in tools such as Python, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar platforms preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency across the wider Microsoft Office suite

Pay
- The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $113,200.00 - $164,050.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
