Lead Software Engineer, iOS

Responsibilities
- Develop iOS client code solutions that align with product strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines, and principles.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high-performing, quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful, and simple in their design.
- Participate actively in all team agile ceremonies, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of commitments.
- Influence and contribute to discussions within the community, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Mentor junior to mid-level members of the team.
- Engage with developers from various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.) and lead the delivery of major components and platform needs.
- Identify and address technical obstacles, working closely with the team to find creative solutions.
- Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Swift and other language idioms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering
- At least 3 years of experience building iOS applications
- At least 3 years of experience with Swift
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience building iOS applications
- 4+ years of experience with Swift
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience with Agile practices
- Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity

Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location:
- McLean, VA: $197,300 - $225,100 for Lead Software Engineer
- Plano, TX: $179,400 - $204,700 for Lead Software Engineer
- Richmond, VA: $179,400 - $204,700 for Lead Software Engineer
Schedule
This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
Qualifications
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
