Job Description
We are seeking a TS/SCI-cleared, highly skilled and motivated Lead Software/Integration Engineer with experience in modern front-end development, Javascript, AWS, Docker, Linux, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development to support front-end modernization, software integration, and mission-system reliability improvements. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across software and infrastructure teams and work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base.
Essential Functions
- Build modern, responsive, intuitive front-end solutions using current web frameworks and best practices.
- Apply software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle, including code reviews, automated testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and maintain applications in AWS, ensuring scalability, security, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
- Engage with customers daily to refine requirements and improve application functionality.
- Prepare and brief technical designs, implementation plans, roadmaps, and documentation.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for system design, application architecture, deployment procedures, and sustainment activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience developing AI/ML-enabled mission applications, analytical tools, or decision-support capabilities involving advanced data processing, automation, visualization, and user interaction.
- Experience developing and deploying applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proficiency with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Git, REST APIs, microservices, and secure software development.
- Experience with scientific, sensor-derived, geophysical, acoustic, seismic, infrasonic, or other mission-relevant technical data.
- Experience building back-end services and APIs using Python, Java, Node.js, .NET, or similar.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience transitioning research or prototype capabilities into operational software tools, supporting classified DoD mission environments.
- Experience supporting Agile software development teams and participating in Scrum ceremonies.
- Experience building and deploying mission applications in classified or high-security environments.
- Familiarity with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
