Lead Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Software Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client specifications. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction of buildings and structures.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client specifications.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Gen AI leads to address product backlog requirements.
• Develop API‑based scalable solutions and debug/troubleshoot software or design issues.
• Integrate popular LLMs (OpenAI GPT, PaLM 2, Dolly, Claude 2, Cohere, etc.) via API endpoints.
• Conduct experiments and analyze features of newer LLM versions.
• Apply prompt engineering and work with LLM agents (LangChain) and vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS).
• Load structured and unstructured data from source systems to target data stores.
• Utilize data analytics and modern technology stacks; proficiency in Python, PySpark, or Java.
• Apply cloud services (Azure, GCP, AWS) for storage, serverless logic, search, transcription, and chat (desirable).
• Leverage data engineering and ETL tools (big plus).

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in architecture or related field.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Creative problem solver with a passion for architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.

Skills

• Programming: Python, PySpark, Java.
• API development and scalable solution architecture.
• LLM integration and prompt engineering.
• Experience with LangChain and vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS).
• Data engineering: ETL, loading structured/unstructured data.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, GCP, AWS (storage, serverless, search, transcription, chat).
• Knowledge of building codes and construction project management.

Schedule

Full‑time position requiring work from the client’s office.
