Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Applying expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle while partnering with stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• Executing creative software design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions for complex technical problems.
• Developing secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to the team, encouraging inclusive participation in design and development.
• Prototyping and delivering AI-enabled workflows and translating stakeholder needs into robust technical designs.

Requirements

• Formal training in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied professional experience.
• Extensive core Java development experience, specifically with Spring or similar frameworks and Test Driven Development.
• Expert understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming for high-performance platforms.
• Experience with enterprise technologies such as Kafka, Cassandra, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
• Demonstrated experience leading the effective and responsible use of AI-assisted software development tools within engineering workflows.
