Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team and contribute to the world’s fastest emulator compiler development, applying creativity, problem‑solving skills, and advanced multi‑threading/distributed computing techniques.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the emulator compiler for Cadence’s Palladium Platform.
- Apply multi‑threading and distributed‑computing methods to solve large‑scale compile problems such as logic optimization, distributed databases, and pre‑compiler technologies.
- Collaborate with hardware design teams and leverage knowledge of hardware description languages.
- Debug and troubleshoot software using tools such as gdb.
- Participate in code reviews, build processes, and version‑control workflows.
Qualifications
- MS with ≥ 2 years experience, or Ph.D., in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and databases.
- Proficiency in C++ and demonstrated ability to debug with gdb.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix development environments.
- Experience with build and version‑control systems.
- Coursework in hardware description languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL) and exposure to electronic design platforms.
Pay
The annual salary range for Massachusetts is $101,500 to $188,500. Candidates may also be eligible for incentive compensation, including bonus, equity, and additional benefits. Salary is a guideline and may vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
