Key Responsibilities
- Implement Adams Application back-end business logic and persistence
- Implement Adams UI extensions
- Create new modeling objects and templates for Adams
- Modernize the Adams application back-end to take advantage of modern hardware
- Improve software quality through expanding coverage of functionality within automated test suites
- Implement build and test pipeline logic
- Collaborate with rest of Adams product development teams in an Agile Development process
- Collaborate with other groups within Cadence for cross-product synergies and common technology
- Contribute to debugging, usability improvements, and technical documentation for delivered features
Required Skills / Experience
- Python Scripting
- Multi-layered software architecture with framework, plug-ins, and public API
- VSCode + CoPilot
- Strong familiarity with Agentic AI, leveraging AI for productivity gains
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- C++ Coding Experience
- QT Coding experience
- Familiarity with MVVM, MVC coding patterns
- Vtune software
- JIRA
- CAD/CAE familiarity
- Coding for GPU
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
- 0-5 Years Experience
