Impact You Will Have

In this role, the Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contribute expertise in the application of different software development and testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests across the delivery lifecycle
  • Contribute to the design of the automation framework and enhancement
  • Maintain traceability from user stories through test cases to automated scripts
  • Identify dependencies, define, and communicate environmental and data requirements
  • Act as a technical expert on one or more applications utilized by DTCC
  • Research and evaluate technical solutions consistent with DTCC technology standards
  • Partner with team members to understand software requirements and execute automated tests that validate the functionality while considering privacy and security requirements
  • Create applications and construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional requirements
  • Work with peers to mature ways of working to implement and maintain continuous testing within the software delivery processes and integrate automated test with CI/CD pipeline
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on development, testing, troubleshooting, and improve overall software quality
  • Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalate appropriately

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
