Principal Duties
- Serves as the Lead person for sign and commercial graphic installations.
- Affords assistance when necessary with the fabrication of signage, which might involve vinyl-cut text, custom ink, paint, and screen-printing on various substrates like plexiglas, PVC, sandblast wood, banners, metals, and other specialized substrates.
- Performs quality control checks on installation jobs and follows up on punch list items as required.
- Responsible for pre-installation site inspections and attends pre-installation meetings as needed.
- Documents site conditions and recommends suitable installation methods and materials.
- Keeps accurate logs of installation time and material usage.
- Assists with documentation on production and material usage logs using appropriate raw materials and MUTCD sign codes.
- Assists the department with general maintenance and cleaning of equipment, small tools, and the overall shop area and job sites.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Promotes awareness of and adheres to Company and general safety policies.
- Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
- Affords assistance with annual inventory count.

Principal Requirements
- Skills/Knowledge: Computer Skills - Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email. Adaptable to in-house software. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete tasks in a timely manner. Calculator 10-key helpful. Math - Good mathematical skills to calculate measurements using a measuring tape and to calculate quantities of materials required for jobs. Reading - Ability to read and understand work orders and other work-related documents and forms.
- Licenses: Must have a valid driver's license and a favorable traffic abstract.
- Education: High School degree or equivalent required.
- Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in manufacturing, installation, or skilled trade environments, or a Trade certificate within a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.
