Lead Security Systems Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements
• Create detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needs
• Swiftly respond to, troubleshoot, and complete necessary repairs to maintain system functionality
• Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material
• Identify code and non-conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standards
• Quote small repair jobs and provide detailed parts and labor requirements to estimators and sales for large repair projects
• On-Call one week per month, flexible schedule, and capacity to work overtime

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems
• Must demonstrate understanding of network components and workstation and server operating system management, IP addressing and subnetting, IP video network transmission, and basic switch, router, and firewall principles
• Ability to work in various environments including mechanical equipment, climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions
• Valid driver's license with limited violations, eligible to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred
• Extensive Access Control Experience
• Certifications in Lenel S2, Genetec (Omnicast, Synergis), CCure Certified, and Milestone
• Ability to read/understand design and construction documents
• Access control experience

Pay

The pay range for this position is $82,753 - $141,862 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
