Lead Security Monitor-2

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate degree from accredited program/institution or two or more years of college-level course work (preferred)
• First aid, CPR, and Emergency behavior intervention certifications
• One plus years of related experience and/or training (required); two plus years (preferred)
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment
• Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
• Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background check
• Annual Influenza vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required as a condition of employment)

Responsibilities

• Relay any concern to Program Director and Assistant Program Director(s) that might represent a danger to unaccompanied children and staff
• Provide technical support to program administration when reviewing and following up with program-level incidents that pose a safety risk to clients in care
• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to the position
• Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and operations
• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed or requested by supervisor
• Implement Compass Connections safety protocols, including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency
• Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations
• Uphold Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct, including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code
• Ensure surveillance equipment and other equipment is operational
• Maintain all records and logs in accordance with policies
• Coordinate and oversee compliance of facility access protocols and collaborate with security subcontractors to ensure facility security (monitoring through surveillance and in person)
• Other duties as assigned
