Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate degree from accredited program/institution or two or more years of college-level course work (preferred)
- First aid, CPR, and Emergency behavior intervention certifications
- One plus years of related experience and/or training (required); two plus years (preferred)
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
- Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background check
- Annual Influenza vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required as a condition of employment)
Responsibilities
- Relay any concern to Program Director and Assistant Program Director(s) that might represent a danger to unaccompanied children and staff
- Provide technical support to program administration when reviewing and following up with program-level incidents that pose a safety risk to clients in care
- Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to the position
- Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and operations
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed or requested by supervisor
- Implement Compass Connections safety protocols, including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations
- Uphold Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct, including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code
- Ensure surveillance equipment and other equipment is operational
- Maintain all records and logs in accordance with policies
- Coordinate and oversee compliance of facility access protocols and collaborate with security subcontractors to ensure facility security (monitoring through surveillance and in person)
- Other duties as assigned

- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position
- Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures
