About the Role
Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Lead Information Security Analyst (Cryptography & PKI). This is a full-time contract position with a duration of 12+ months, offering a hybrid work arrangement in Charlotte, NC; Chandler, AZ; Los Colinas, TX; or Minneapolis, MN.
Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for enterprise cryptography, PKI, encryption technologies, certificate lifecycle management, and key management.
- Provide technical leadership and governance for digital certificates across the enterprise.
- Partner with application, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to design secure cryptographic solutions.
- Conduct cryptographic risk assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
- Develop and maintain cryptographic standards, policies, and control frameworks.
- Support audit, regulatory, and compliance activities related to cryptographic controls.
- Lead initiatives for certificate discovery, inventory management, governance, and lifecycle automation.
- Evaluate and optimize certificate lifecycle management platforms such as Venafi, Keyfactor, and DigiCert.
- Monitor emerging cryptographic threats, including Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
- Mentor security teams and contribute to enterprise cryptographic strategy and modernization efforts.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Information Security, Cryptography, PKI, Encryption, Key Management, or related cybersecurity disciplines within the financial services industry.
- Strong expertise in PKI, Digital Certificate Lifecycle Management, and cryptographic technologies.
- Hands-on experience with certificate management platforms such as Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), key protection mechanisms, and operational controls.
- Experience performing cryptographic risk assessments and remediation planning.
- Knowledge of regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements related to cryptographic controls.
- Experience analyzing large datasets to identify risk, compliance gaps, and operational improvement opportunities.
- Strong analytical, automation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Pay
$60 to $65 per hour.
