Qualifications
Prior certificated law enforcement experience is required to meet the advanced skills expected of this position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors to maintain a safe school environment.
- Works under the direct supervision of the principal to manage safety and security.
- Utilizes specialized, highly skilled law enforcement competencies to work on and help sustain a secure learning atmosphere.
- Remains mobile, alert, and observant while patrolling campus grounds and facilities.
- Serves as a team leader.
- Uses investigative and crisis-response skills to minimize disruptions, respond to emergencies, and prevent school safety occurrences.
Pay
Career Classified Salary Schedule Range 14: $24.93 per hour
Schedule
Hours: 8 hours per day, 10 months.
From July 28, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
