About the role
Eaton’s North America Sales division is currently seeking a Lead Sales Engineer - Industrial in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities
- Market and sell Eaton’s products and services to obtain orders that are profitable to Eaton.
- Achieve electrical distribution and engineering services solutions sales results in the geographic market region.
- Manage the assigned customer base, increase sales in the local marketplace, provide application guidance and technical assistance to assigned customers.
- Develop, grow, and maintain relationships with Eaton employees, specifiers and customers, including Eaton authorized distributors.
- Understand Eaton’s support structure available to sales, including EatonCare; understand Eaton proprietary systems and software including Bidmanager and VISTA; apply technical knowledge for all products involved with the sales assignment; comprehend project specifications and drawings; gain confidence of customers and become a trusted source of information about Eaton offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum five (5) years of electrical industry sales/marketing and/or electrical engineering experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Account management experience
