About the role

The Lead Associate's primary function is to sell and promote Tommy Hilfiger merchandise through execution of the TH Customer Service Standards. The role involves cash responsibilities and performing various operational activities as assigned by Store Management.

Responsibilities

  • Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with the TH Customer Service standards.
  • Build repeat customer base through excellent data capturing and service.
  • Maintain strong knowledge regarding product, promotions, and special events in order to communicate to customers for more effective selling.
  • Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Acknowledge every customer within the zone; treat customers with priority over assigned tasks.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Communicate concerns to management.
  • Assist in developing Sales Associates.
  • Create energy and excitement around shared goals and values and act with integrity.
  • Support all company / management decisions.
  • Change schedules, adapt to the needs of the position, undertake night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

The Lead Associate must be flexible to work rotating hours, as assigned by management. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management.

Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
