Lead Sales Associate - Full Time

About the role

This position functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. The role involves maintaining stock, implementing plan-o-grams, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, rotate and face products, and build displays
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and operate cash registers
• Handle payments, make change, and process transactions accurately
• Maintain store cleanliness, including dusting, mopping, and trash removal
• Help set up displays and ensure a well-organized shopping environment
• Support store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma and six months of supervisory or related experience

• Strong mathematical, cash handling, and register operation skills
• Knowledge of safety, facility, and cash control policies
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and product presentation guidelines
