Lead Sales Associate - Full Time

About the role

The Archway is Tarrant County’s only state-designated family violence program. As a Lead Sales Associate for Berry Good Buys, you will play a crucial role in supporting domestic violence victims and holding offenders accountable. You will ensure smooth operations at the resale store, manage daily sales targets, customer experience, safety and security, and financial deposits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily sales targets are met
• Manage customer experience
• Secure the building, open/close registers, prepare tills, and complete daily deposits
• Assist with weekly staff schedules
• Check store email and voicemail
• Assume responsibilities of store manager when needed
• Greet customers, complete point of sales, move product from donation area to store, price and organize donations, and manage the donation drop-off area
• Promote supreme customer service throughout interactions
• Maintain the store's appearance and cleanliness

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word)
• Understanding of basic retail principles and good math skills
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and computers
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Able to lift 50 pounds, stand, reach, and walk for extended periods
• Able to provide culturally competent services and work with diverse staff and clientele
• Pass a background check
