Lead Sales Associate - Full Time

Role Overview

This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with responsibilities including assisting in store operations, customer service, inventory management, and store maintenance. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, the role includes acting as a lead, handling cash, authorizing refunds, and ensuring security and operational procedures are followed.

Key Duties

• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and rotate merchandise to maintain product displays.
• Assist customers with locating items and provide excellent service.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and maintain checkout areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and stockrooms.
• Implement and maintain plan-o-grams and merchandising standards.
• Support store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits.
• Monitor security and cash control practices, including supervising cashiers and overseeing safety protocols.

Qualifications And Skills

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures, register functions, and safety policies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of merchandising standards and safety practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with six months of supervisory or related experience recommended.
