Lead Sales Associate
About the role
The role involves managing the daily operations of a fitness studio, including opening and closing the studio, reviewing appointments, providing coaching, and assisting with onboarding new employees.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the studio is clean, organized, and ready for members upon opening.
- Reviewing and discussing the day’s appointments and goals with the team.
- Offering coaching and support as needed.
- Checking in on team members' performance and addressing any issues.
- Jumping in to help solve problems as necessary.
- Helping new Sales Associates with onboarding and training.
- Leading by example and stepping up when the Studio Manager is unavailable.
- Closing up the studio at the end of the day, celebrating team wins, and preparing for the next day.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing or sales-focused role.
- Prior experience supervising or supporting a team.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for health, fitness, or wellness.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a personal training certification from ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or NCSF.
- A license in therapeutic massage or another accredited body work.
Skills

- Team leadership and supervision.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of stretching methodologies and the ability to work with the stretch reflex.
- Understanding of postural and movement limitations and how to correct or mitigate them.
