Lead Sales Associate

SUMMARY

The Lead Sales Associate assists Retail Store Manager oversee employees and run daily store operations. The Lead Sales Associate ensures the sales floor is well-organized, customers receive excellent service, and team members are supported in achieving performance expectations. The Lead Sales Associate is responsible for meeting/exceeding sales quotas and goals by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assigns duties, schedules shifts and breaks, and ensures adequate floor coverage
• Trains and supervises staff on store policies and job duties
• Orders and inspects merchandise, supplies, and equipment
• Tracks deliveries, check for accuracy and reports discrepancies
• Prepares sales and inventory reports
• Ensures accuracy in sales and cash handling
• Handles customer complaints, returns and service issues professionally
• Affixes complex sales and customer service tasks
• Maintains daily store operations
• Maintains performance expectations for team members
• Maintains a safe work environment
• Supports donation and production operations as needed
• Maintains regular communication with store leadership

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regularly required to: stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally maneuver wheeled containers weighing up to 300 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and extreme heat
