About the role

The Lead Sales Associate position is part-time, requiring approximately 20-25 hours per week or more as needed. Hours will be split among our two studios in Alpharetta and Roswell, GA, and include early morning, evening, and weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the highest quality customer service to all clients and guests through professional communications, account maintenance, and extensive knowledge of BODYBAR classes, products, and retail.
  • Handle client issues and complaints, manage cancellations and freezes for client accounts, and help lead and train other team members.
  • Oversee the class registration and attendance process, ensuring adherence to studio policies and promotions.
  • Drive studio growth by owning the sales process—generate leads, follow up, and convert interest into memberships.
  • Develop new client interest through existing referral sources and drive attendance; follow up with leads to secure recurring membership or class pack sales.
  • Build strong relationships with members through proactive communication and personalized support.
  • Lead the customer service experience by greeting and servicing clients in a friendly and professional manner, responding to client needs, requests, and issues.
  • Manage the customer lifecycle from onboarding to cancellation or freeze requests.
  • Monitor client attendance, respond to late cancels and no-shows, and work to improve customer retention and minimize attrition.
  • Represent BODYBAR at local events and help grow our presence in the community.
  • Promote all BODYBAR offerings, specials, and promotions within the community and engage with our community partner network.
  • Maintain accurate logs of member bookings and interactions, ensuring inventory and supplies are well-stocked and organized.
  • Create a welcoming studio environment by engaging with members before and after class and keeping the studio, front reception, and restrooms clean and inviting.

Requirements

  • Positive, high-energy attitude and personality.
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to generate membership, retail, and private training sales.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills in-person, via phone, and email.
  • Passionate about fitness.
  • Professional, trustworthy, and punctual.
  • Proficient with computers and studio software.
  • 1-3 years of retail and/or fitness sales experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
