About the role

The Animal Hospital at Lake Brandt is seeking a Lead Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join their dedicated team. For 19 years, they have been committed to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while fostering strong relationships with pets and their families.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide guidance for the technician team while maintaining open and supportive communication.
• Assist in surgical, dental, and appointment procedures, demonstrating best practices.
• Elevate care across the hospital by mentoring the team, leading monthly meetings, and developing skills, with support from leadership.
• Collaborate on technician scheduling to align with hospital needs.
• Work with hospital leadership to implement strategies and initiatives that enhance the standard of care.

Requirements

• A skilled registered technician with proficiency in veterinary procedures and treatments.
• A natural leader capable of supporting both experienced and new team members.
• At least one year of experience in a management or leadership role (inside or outside of veterinary medicine).
• A passion for delivering gold standard medicine and compassionate client/patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification.
• Experience in a veterinary setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$22-$27 per hour, based on experience.
