Lead RN Coordinator

Job Summary

Oversees daily operations consistent with the departmental goals
Maintains orientation of new staff through collaboration with preceptors
Serves as the primary point of contact in the absence of TC leadership
Aids in scheduling and covering open shifts
Ensures QA/QI of data, phone calls, and reports
Works to improve current operations by identifying inefficiencies
Communicates and resolves issues with leadership regularly
Plays a vital role in emergency operations
Aids in data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and analysis of data
Maintains the call queue for the Transfer Center

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor of Nursing preferred
• Prior management/supervisory experience in a healthcare related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience (required)
• Critical Care or Emergency Department experience preferred
• RN License in the states where the HCA facilities for that Division are located – multi-state license required if Transfer Center covers more than a single state (may be obtained upon hire)
