About the role
The Lead Retirement Specialist is responsible for the administration and oversight of retirement benefits programs for active employees, retirees, beneficiaries, and future retirees. This position serves as a lead resource for retirement operations, providing guidance, training, and support to retirement staff while ensuring accurate and compliant retirement benefit administration.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a lead resource for retirement operations, providing guidance, training, and support to retirement staff.
- Ensures accurate and compliant retirement benefit administration.
- Manages complex retirement cases.
- Coordinates retirement counseling and education services.
- Performs payroll and contribution audits.
- Oversights retiree subsidy billing processes.
- Delivers exceptional customer service to employees and retirees.
- Maintains the integrity of retirement programs.
- Supports retirement readiness across the University community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3 years of experience in benefits administration, retirement administration, human resources, or a related field.

- Pay Range: Targeted salary $55,000 annually, based on experience
