Lead Referral Representative

Responsibilities

• Reviews all incoming referrals and schedules appointments for various practices and specialities.
• Communicates referral information and confirmation with patients and referring physicians/office staff.
• Maintains strong working relationships with internal and external customers by providing service assistance and open communication.
• Reviews and submits all medical records related to referral appointments as requested by physicians.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of office experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and Medical Assistant experience/training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with patients, physicians, and office staff.
• Computer literate.

Qualifications

• One-year college degree preferred.
• Associates Degree training preferred.
