Lead Reconciliation Implementation Associate

About the role

The Lead Reconciliation Implementation Analyst establishes reconciliation processes and thresholds for clients. They collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design automated workflows, and ensure data accuracy through analysis and validation with third-party data. This role monitors and addresses discrepancies in the reconciliation process involving safekeeping institutions, third-party data, and order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete reconciliation for client investment books during onboarding, focusing on automation and scalable operating models.
• Demonstrate familiarity with available resources and accurately select appropriate research tools.
• Back reconcile, normalize, and automate data as a primary responsibility.
• Proactively learn from mistakes and take steps to avoid repeating them.
• Apply knowledge of investment accounting, financial statements, amortization, interest income, yields, and other financial and accounting concepts.
• Actively communicate project progress and risks with Stream Leads and PMs.
• Apply understanding of vanilla fixed income and equity investments, including their purpose and operation in CW, and develop knowledge of security types commonly held by assigned clients.

Requirements

• An intense desire to learn something new and improve daily.
• Basic knowledge of Excel such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables.
• Basic knowledge of accounting basis and/or financial instruments preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and math skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in finance or accounting.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.

Pay

Chicago Salary Range: $62,000 - $85,000 DOE
