Responsibilities
- Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure products and manufacturing processes meet customer requirements and quality standards.
- Review drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards.
- Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures, systems, and processes.
- Create training materials and conduct quality-related training sessions for employees.
- Support supplier quality initiatives and ensure vendor compliance with established quality requirements.
- Analyse quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and overall performance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality evaluation methods, control systems, and inspection protocols.
- Perform inspections using a variety of measurement and inspection equipment to verify product conformity.
- Serve as a quality resource across multiple departments and help drive a culture of quality and accountability.
- Work independently to identify issues, solve problems, and support organisational quality objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
- Experience mentoring, training, or providing guidance to team members; prior leadership or project lead experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
- Experience working with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
