About the Opportunity

The Lead Quality Assurance Analyst will step into a high-visibility, technically demanding leadership role engineered to serve as the primary guardian of software reliability, systemic performance, and deployment velocity across hyper-scale advertising platforms. This position takes comprehensive operational ownership of the end-to-end quality ecosystem, driving the strategic architecture of both manual validation protocols and continuous automated testing frameworks. Acting as a vital engineering catalyst within an advanced Agile environment, the Lead Analyst will spearhead framework expansion, direct multi-layer diagnostic investigations, and mentor a high-performing QA team—directly ensuring the zero-downtime stability of platforms processing billions of real-time transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, scale, and execute comprehensive manual and automated software testing pipelines to validate high-throughput application functionality and isolate edge-case regressions
  • Design, code, and implement custom diagnostic tooling and test utilities to accelerate verification cycles and optimize early defect detection
  • Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot continuous integration (CI) test automation frameworks to guarantee high test reliability and minimize flaky test patterns
  • Engineer automated, real-time system health monitoring solutions and conduct rigorous functional testing across distributed web applications
  • Enhance existing test automation architectures continuously to increase code maintainability, minimize execution times, and expand boundary test coverage
  • Lead, mentor, and technically elevate a dedicated team of QA engineers, establishing industry best practices for automation engineering and test design
  • Perform deep-dive root-cause analysis on complex automation failures, microservice breakdowns, and high-priority environment issues
  • Partner dynamically with development leads, system architects, and product managers during active Agile sprints to engineer robust test strategies from inception
  • Research, benchmark, and integrate emerging software quality assurance utilities, artificial intelligence testing tools, and optimization techniques
  • Participate actively in daily scrum cadences, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives, delivering data-driven status visibility and workflow improvements

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related quantitative discipline, coupled with a minimum of three (3) years of progressive, professional software quality engineering experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of direct, hands-on experience developing, debugging, and scaling automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and Java
  • Proven architectural experience designing and maintaining structured test automation frameworks utilizing TestNG and Maven dependency management
  • Strong technical proficiency in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies, featuring direct experience authoring feature files and step definitions via Cucumber
  • Extensive API testing experience, showcasing structural mastery of programmatic validation using REST-Assured, HttpClient, and Postman
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performance, load, and stress testing architectures using enterprise tools such as JMeter and SoapUI
  • Robust version control expertise using Git, demonstrating comfort with advanced branching models, continuous integration merges, and complex conflict resolution
  • Verified capability to build and govern cross-layer test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing parameters
  • Strong command of automated test reporting systems, dynamic data setup orchestration, and active leadership within cross-functional defect triage meetings
