LEAD QA TECHNICIAN

Qualifications

• Demonstrate and be able to pass all required safety courses provided by JBS
• Self-motivated, trustworthy, and capable of completing all work assignments with minimal supervision
• Motivate, train, and teach employees their job to JBS standards
• Willing to work with line supervisors to make placement decisions and help with make sheet
• Knowledge of all jobs on designated line or ability to learn them
• Confident in coaching and counseling employees about qualification issues (not discipline)
• Proficiency in the jobs on the line
• Strong record of safety
• Good communication skills
• Positive work performance record

Physical Requirements

• Constant walking and/or standing
• Use of hands to fingers
• Reach with hands and arms
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Constant exposure to cold, wet, and damp environments
• Standing for prolonged periods of time
• Uneven walking surfaces and slippery floors
• Exposure to blades
