Lead QA Automation Engineer

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts for successful project delivery with oversight on manual and automation testing
• Define and evolve comprehensive testing strategies within Agile SDLC
• Architect and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for multiple layers
• Write and review automated test scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and execute diverse automated test suites to ensure product reliability
• Prioritize the QA backlog, focusing on automation coverage and technical debt
• Serve as escalation point for QA issues, managing risk and release readiness
• Investigate complex defects and drive root cause analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set quality standards and requirements
• Champion best practices in quality engineering and maintainable design
• Mentor and develop QA Engineers in automation and testing methodologies
• Support hiring and building a high-performing QA team

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Quality Engineering (B2B SaaS)
• 3+ years in test automation (e.g., Katalon, Playwright, Selenium)
• Experienced in writing test cases and implementing automation strategies
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and coverage analysis
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Jmeter, NeLoad)
• API testing knowledge using tools like Postman
• Bachelor's in Computer Science

Pay

$130,300 – $140,036 annually
