About the role
Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness offers a variety of programs including child and adult mental health, substance abuse, and community engagement. They focus on building and sustaining community collaboration and a partnership culture. The Lead Psychiatrist position is part‑time (20 hours per week) at the Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF), an inpatient unit with 16 beds serving adults 18 years of age and older.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care and assist as needed with all staff psychiatry duties.
- Participate in the QAPI process.
- Attend PHF Governing Board meetings.
Pay
$210.00 per hour (W‑2 employee).
