Lead Project Manager with Security Clearance
About the role
Serve as the designated Site Lead and primary contact for the CO and COR on all issues relating to contractor personnel. Provide direction to the project team and coordinate schedules and workload across construction and service projects. Provide oversight of all construction-related activities and the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects. Coordinate with customers and conduct schedule review and design review. Develop solutions to construction problems or existing field conditions, and review contractor submittals for contract conformance. Support the CO and COR throughout the acquisition phases of each project, including answering offerors' questions and attending/participating in site orientation visits and joint contractor/Government meetings. Draft technical responses to change orders and prepare statements of work and cost estimates for new contracts and contract modifications. Support contract reporting requirements, including the comprehensive Monthly Report and Monthly Performance Update meetings with the CO, COR, and contractor management.

- Travel required to different government locations periodically.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years' project management work experience on commercial or Government construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to provide site leadership and serve as the primary Government interface.
- Ability to independently apply advanced project management techniques to complex assignments under limited supervision and general direction.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management certification.
- Experience supporting Federal Government construction or facility engineering programs.
- Experience preparing statements of work, independent cost estimates, and change order documentation.
- Experience managing teams across geographically dispersed project sites.
